Innovation fair: This was startport’s FUTURE logistics

On May 5th our partner startport organized the innovation fair FUTURE logistics. The goal: connecting international startups with companies and investors from the logistics and supply chain sectors in order to realize innovations in the logistics world. Our team was there!

8 AM, Thursday morning. Our team members arrive at the “Duisburger Binnenschifffahrtsmuseum” – a unique event location. With 26 other companies the booths are prepared. The startups are either part of the current startport program or alumni. The focus of the individual startups is diverse: solutions for transparency in supply chains, hardware product such as sensors for parking management or supply chain management software – problems are solved innovatively.

10 AM. Doors open. A total of 261 visitors will arrive at the venue to experience logistics solutions on site, meet startups and network with founders.

10.30 AM. The keynotes begin – both offline and online! Via stream 86 people from all over Germany log on to follow the stage program. In a total of 10 sessions, logistics challenges and sustainable solutions are discussed to make the logistics world more robust and future-proof.

5 PM. It’s a wrap! 261 participants – including 98 startups, more than 122 corporates and 41 investors and ecosystem representatives exchanged ideas on the topic of innovations in the logistics world.

Our conclusion: Great atmosphere, many exciting ideas that suggest solution-oriented action and holistic thinking. A wonderful event to expand your network and be inspired by others!
